The aim of this project is to get accurate metal compositions using spectromaxx machines in metal industries and quality control enterprises, the replacement of metallic holders by ceramic holders in the composition identification and analysis of metals by spectromaxx. Due to high temperature resistance, and it is non- metallic material, it is not analyzed by spectromaxx, i.e act as indentation resistant on it. In most metal industries use metallic holders for characterization of metals chemical compositions. Metals frequently warp or distort during machining or heat cycling and especially, for small diameter samples due to the spectromaxx easily analyzing the metal holder parallel to samples for smaller samples. Therefore, the tested result is not only the samples, but both the metallic holder and the sample, thus metallic holders are not suitable for small diameter samples, especially for determining nitrogen content within the metal. Alumina ceramics are among the hardest materials, which is known-harder than tool steel. Using ceramic holders helps to know the exact components and constituents of metal samples by using spectromaxx characterization instruments.
