Meiyan Gao

Dr. Meiyan Gao obtained her doctoral degree from the University of Limerick in Ireland. During her PhD studies, she was a visiting PhD researcher at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on metal-organic materials, specifically the design and synthesis of metal clusters and porous materials (MOFs and COFs), exploring their applications in catalysis, adsorption, and separation. Dr. Gao has published 40 academic papers, with 20 as the first/corresponding author. Her publications include articles in journals like Nat. Commun. (1), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (4), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (2), Chem. Sci., etc. She has also served as guest editor, Young Editorial Board Member and independent reviewer for multiple international journals. In addition, she has contributed one book chapter and holds two invention patents. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley.
