Mahesh D Gaikwad

Dr. Mahesh D Gaikwad is a Scientist in the Rigid Pavement Division at CSIR–Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi, India. He holds a Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Structural Engineering and a Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering. Dr. Gaikwad also serves as an Assistant Professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), Ghaziabad, India. His research interests include high-performance concrete, nano-modified concrete, fibre-reinforced concrete, sustainable and waste-derived construction materials, pavement materials, and advanced concrete characterization. His research work integrates experimental, numerical, laboratory, and field investigations to develop innovative materials and technologies aimed at enhancing the mechanical performance, durability, sustainability, and long-term serviceability of concrete pavements. He has been actively involved in research and industry-sponsored projects, contributing to the development of innovative engineering solutions through technical publications, international and national conference presentations, research proposals, and collaborative research initiatives.
